Question: My father is a kidney patient.and seventy four years old.He is in need of a kidney transplant...He periodically has to get check ups to see if he is eligible for a transplant...He had heart surgery two years ago so he could remain on the list....He recently had a stress test . Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
This means that the stress test resulted positive for stress induced heart ischemia, which is a sign for coronary arteries blockage. You don't specify what type of cardiac surgery your father have done two years ago (if he had done bypass surgery than the results are suggestive for graft re-closure).
If he was my patient I would recommend to bring him immediately at the nearest hospital for further examinations (to exclude life threatening situations including heart attacks).
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you and your family health!
