Hello
Thank you for getting back. Your symptoms are most probably due to common cold/flu. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
- Take Diphenhydramine + Dextromethorphan thrice a day for cough.
- cetirizine one at night for 2 days.
- Take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt in it. Perform gargles (mouth wash) with it three times a day for at least 3 days. It will give soothing effect.
- cover yourself with warm clothes before going out.
AVOID chilled water or spicy food
Hopefully condition will improve with these measures BUT in case condition does not improves then you need to visit hospital for further workup and antibiotic cover.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
