Yes / go for ablation
Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic
YES... the information is enough.
Documentation of the episode is enough
We go for investigations like Holter or Event monitor, if only it cannot be documented
EPS (Electro Physiological Studies) and ablation is the DEFINITIVE treatment. It identifies the cause – which is almost always an aberrant pathway / and abolishes it.
All drugs are only symptomatic and of course, drugs have their side effects too / need trial and error for individual patients for choosing a drug and then to adjust the dose /
No drug will treat the cause – they only treat the symptom
Their effects are temporary / the effect is gone on withdrawing it
Ablation addresses the cause /and the cure is permanent in most cases, if it could be identified and ablated… it can also identify the choice of drug…/ it resembles angio – a catheter is put inside the heart / electrical activity recorded / stimulation and suppression tests are carried out / suitable medicine tested and so on during the procedure… That is the gold standard, but it is INVASIVE. This super-speciality expert is called ELECTRO-PHYSIOLOGIST… and is available only in select centres…
Good luck
God bless you
