Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Discomfort In The Jaw Joints
Cellulitis, wisdom tooth infection, medication
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the swelling over jaw near the joint can be a cellulitis secondary to wisdom tooth infection (pericoronal abscess). Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need ti get a radiograph done to confirm the diagnosis.Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics preferably a combination of amoxicillin and metronidazole combination (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. If possible upload the images of the swelling so that I can confirm the diagnosis.
I hope I have answered your query. If any queries are there reply me back. Take care.
