Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Abdomen Post Recovering From Gastritis
Question: Had had so gastritis last week .thought I would be better this week. Did have some constipation but took care of that yesterday. Still having some swelling and pain in abdomen.

I prescribe Rabeprazole 20mg twice daily till symptoms subside.
For patients with constipation, I add prokinetc agent Levosulpiride.
Stop all medication that you are taking till now.
If the pain still persists, you should consult your doctor and get an Ultrasound abdomen and Upper GI endoscopy.
