Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Legs After Hysterectomy

May not be a recurrence
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
This swelling of left leg may not be due to recurrence of the mass. It can be because of blood clot in vein, or low protein, heart or liver problems or even due to some drugs. You have not mentioned regarding the nature of the mass. Was it malignant or cancerous? If not then recurrence is not a possibility. Even if cancerous, recurrence after 6 years bit unlikely.
I would recommend to get routine blood work, abdominal ultrasound and doppler of leg veins.
These would clinch the diagnosis and appropriate treatment can be initiated. Surgery is a remote possibility and I don't feel we should think about it right now.
Hope this helps. I will be available for follow-up.
Regards
