Brief Answer:
Probably a complication from the previous infection!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this swelling of the balls that you have reported. Considering all the information you have presented, this raises the suspicion for a possible complication from the initial gonorrheal infection. Before we conclude, I will like to know if you were as well treated for chlamydia infection. This is because gonorrhea and chlamydia often co-exist and the strategy is to treat for chlamydia when treating gonorrhea. If you were not treated for chlamydia, then this might have been an oversight and paved the way fro related complications.

Right now, the strategy would be for you to get a urine analysis and culture to identify the germ causing your infection and what antibiotics can eradicate them. Also, you would get the testicles examined to make sure there are no other possible causes for this swelling which are not directly explained by an infection. Your treatment would be determined by the findings on examination and testing.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
This might not be an infection!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed your information. With no pain, soreness and this only when walking makes it to be more likely suggestive of a blood vessel. For now, there is no reason to think you would need surgery. All I would recommend at this stage is monitor for a longer time period.

If the swelling increases or you develop pains, then I will suggest that you get evaluated by your physician through physical exam and imaging tests.

I wish you well and hope you are relaxed!
