
Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Forehead

Question: Dr. my son is nine year old having swelling on forehead vertical line from eyebrow to hairline ct of same has done shows diffuse soft tissue swelling on frontal region on left side pediatric consultant said nothing to worry he is healthy having no pain nothing some Dr. said it ii depression on forehead it is noticeable from last 15 months or it is metopic synotosis pls advice .

From the CT scan you have done it show that everything is normal and haven't any issue.
While for the diffuse swelling on forehead ,it is only an esthetic issue.

Dr.I once on net read about linear scledorma so worried about it...may u tell me it is scledorma or not

madam sure it is swelling only one of doctor online said for some tests regarding linear scledorma and is linear sclerodarma is treatable and not so chronic now pls advice me I have to do these test like ESR DNA sr rhemutoid etc and vitamin d and calcium cerum

From the pictures of your boy and CT scan it doesn't seem as linear or morphoea scleroderma,because :
He doesn't seem to have thickened skin occurs in lines along the face with hairlees and shiny zone
occasionally affects underlying bone and muscle,CT scan show that skull of your boy is normal
He haven't discoloured skin on the affected zone
These tests that you have mentioned above are positive in most of cases of sclerodermia ,but from he's pictures it doesn't seem as sclerodermia .
