Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Legs And Feet

Question: My legs and feet have recently become very swollen (no relief from elevating feet) and was wondering if switching from norco 10/325 4/a day to hydrocodone-ibu 7.5/200 5/a day could be the cause. It's a lower does I realize but it is the only thing that has changed.

Hope this message finds you in good health.
I have gone through your complaints and understand your concern.
I generally see many cases like this at my clinic and found out that such leg and feet swelling is generally due to a body reaction to a new drug although there are many other reasons for such swelling.
From the history you have mentioned, it seems you have suffering and tolerating a lot of pain over the years and taking medicines for a prlonged period of time.
Analgesic drugs, steroids etc are very harmful for the organs of our body ,kidney and liver to be specific. In long term their functioning gets affected .so i suggest you to avoid using such harmful drugs.

u can instead use these analgesic skin patches to be pasted onto our skin. its effect lasts for around 5 days or so,but is very safe.
Orally,tramadol,tapedolol,piroxicams are less harmful
As far as the swelling is concerned,its due to drug treaction or else,other causes may be loss of proteins in urine causing protein deficiency,renal insufficiency or some cardiac reasons.deep vein thrombosis is another reason.
I would suggest u to stop you medicines for about 3 days and see if the swelling reduces,that will confirm the cause.

You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about, as long as i am there to help you.

I do spill protein a (+2) on my last report. I was born this way and my mother also suffers . I've had my liver, kidney and pancreas checked a few years ago and they came back normal. I do retain water and use a diuretic i can lose 12 lbs. In one day but it comes right back when I stop. I hope this add'l background info helps.

Yeah,this information is definitely useful.

that means the main cause is HYPOPROTEINEMIA, due to loss of excess proteins from your body.
You should maintain a high protein diet all throughout.
But i would still suggest you to stop the tablets and wait for 3 days. Do inform me what happens after 3 days of stopping the tablets.
