                                    Brief Answer:
You may need antibiotic and NSAIDs
Detailed Answer:
Good day and thank you for being with healthcare magic!
I am sorry to hear that the tip of your penis is swollen. You may have a condition called balanophosthitis. This is Inflammation and infection of the head of the penis and the preputial skin.
You need anti inflammatory (NSAIDs) and antibiotics. I usually prescribe ciprofloxacin for my patients. Drink plenty of fluids also to flush away the bacteria. Wash the area work soap and water twice a day and make sure you are using mild soap because strong soap may cause further irritation.
I hope I have answered your question satisfactorily.

                                    Brief Answer:
NSAIDs like ibuprofen or celecoxib.
Detailed Answer:
NSAIDS like ibuprofen or celecoxib can be bought as over the counter. This would help decrease the swelling. If the feeling persists or discharge can be seen then you may need to see a urologist for a prescription for antibiotics.

swelling went down by itself and I don't see discharge. This is the first time it happened and it lasted for a couple of hours. What could that be?

                                    Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction or due to use.
Detailed Answer:
It is good to hear that the swelling went away by itself. It could have been irritated by something like soap or latex. It may have also been swollen due to use and micro trauma during intercourse.
What's important is that the swelling is gone.
