Question: Is it possible to have a slughtky thicker tongue on one side if inhad an biopsy andstitches four months ago. No pain, barely noticeable except to me, but i do feel the right side of my tongue is thicker. I sleep on that side, i have TMJ, and grind my teeth. And again, i had stitches on that side of my tongue last December.

Brief Answer:
Might be due biopsy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Well as per your explanation it looks like due to biopsy and stitches you have a feeling of swollen on side of tongue which can exactly be a feeling of slightly different appearance of tongue on that side..

If it is hardly noticeable then there is nothing to worry about bit in case if you find a gross difference or the swollen appearance increase then it should be clinically examined by an Oral Physician..

Please write back if you have more queries..

Regards..
