Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Tender Right Elbow

Question: my right elbow is swelled up right at the point of the elbow and like a pouch that feels like liquid in there and blue and very tender. I do not remember hitting it at all. This happened also about 4 weeks ago and a big bruise resulted and took about 1 week to disappear. I had though I hit my elbow but really dont' know....now out of the blue it happened again

Aspiration of fluid is required.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.

Fluid in any joint needs aspiration i.e we do not usually allow the fluid to accumulate in joint.

So you should immediately go to ER and the doctor will aspirate it and send the fluid for microbiological examination.

Get xray of affected elbow in Ap and Lateral view done.

Send me report of aspiration and xray.

Till then apply crepe bandage.

Take 1 tab. Aceclofenac + serratiopeptidase three times a day.

Do not lift weight with affected elbow.
