Suggest Treatment For Swollen Bruise Near Elbow After Incorrectly Injecting Methaphetamine
Question: shot meth in my vein just below the elbow about 24 hours ago and missed a little bit, not a ton but enough to cause a little bubble. i immediately pulled the needle out cuz i knew i was missing but of course a little bump formed. i immediately pushed the bump down and rubbed the area to spread the liquid around and it dissipated well enough. now, 15-20 hours later it's slightly swollen and slightly bruised, like a light brownish/ruddy red coloring, and the bruising is about a 3-inch diameter around the injection site. there isn't much pain at all and it's not hot to the touch that I can tell, and i've been massaging it here and there...but i keep reading conflicting ideas/opinions on what to do. my gut tells me it'll be okay, mainly because there isn't much pain, it's just a little tender and bruised. any advice would be appreciated.

I need more information as follows-
What was the drug was infused in the vein?plz update it soon for further advise.
I would advise you to Consult ER primary doctor and take following care-
Voltaren gel locally x for next 5 days.
Thrombophobe oint locally x for next 5 days time
Antibiotics x for 5 days to reduce any risk of vein inflammation or tissue infection around.
Cold Compresses to reduce the edema/ swelling.
This would take care of the current problem you have.
