All week i would get a pain on my left shoulder for a few seconds or a minute when I am not doing anything.
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome on HCM!
I passed carefully through your recent clinical symptomatology and would explain that what could be a new issue to more carefully consider is the irregular heartbeat.
In this situation, it is important to investigate for a possible atrial fibrillation or frequent extra-systolic arrhythmia, which are the more common in similar clinical conditions.
Coming to this point, if palpitations (irregular heart rhythm feeling) persists, I would recommend asking medical assistance to the nearest ER service at your living area.
A careful physical exam, including cardiac and lung auscultation, exploring the peripheral congestion status (severity of edema, peripheral arterial pulses), coupled with a resting ECG would clarify the heart rhythm issue and potential subsequent vascular complications.
Also., some additional lab tests are necessary (if none of them haven't been performed recently):
- complete blood count (exploring possible anemia, or other cytopenias),
- PCR & ESR (for inflammation),
- renal function tests (possible dysfunction),
- blood electrolytes level (possible imbalance)
Regarding other clinical symptoms (pain, etc.) they are an expression of musculoskeletal involvements frequently found in SLE and need to be treated with several anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again!
Kind regards,
Dr.Iliri
