Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node Near The Collarbone

Question: I have a swollen lympth node by my collarbone for maybe 5 months. I had a sonogram for something else
and I asked them to look at this swollen area and she said it looked like a lympth node. I've been to Urgent Care and they couldn't seen anything abnormal but how I noticed it was that area was swollen and I can

Brief Answer:
Its not a malignant issue.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thank you for the query.
In this area lymph nodes are common finding. As long as the lymph node is small, movable, smooth and does not grow rapidly, we assume its a regular lymph node.
More over single lymph node very rarelly indicates any malignancy. Usually there are multiply lymph nodes growing fast in case of lymphoma or cancer.
So just keep an eye on it. If you smoke, considet chest CT. Otherwise you may wait and see.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
