CBC shows normal WBC but with right shift. no anemia no splenomegally . and Positive mono test. still concerned that I could have hodgikins. thoughts?
Brief Answer:
doesn't look like Hodgkin's
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for your query.
Only lymph nodes in the groin is a bit unlikely in Hodgkin's.
Usually neck or armpit nodes are also there. Also the nodes are tender, but in Hodgkin's they are painless non-tender. Tender suggests infection.
The mono test is positive and fever, rash, etc can also be explained by that.
Blood test is normal which is further reassuring. If you can upload the CBC I can comment on the right shift.
Overall, I think there is little possibility of Hodgkin's, if at all any.
Hope this helps. Any more queries in this regard are most welcome
