Suggest Treatment For Swollen Neck While Having Thyroid Disease
Question: I have had thyroid issues for 20 years and my first reading was -37. My Dr. Told me it had pretty much shut down. I have been on synthroid .100.mg for 20 years. A few years back it went out of whack a bit and my Dr. put me on a stronger dose .112mg. I went for blood work last Monday and she has now put me back to the 100mg. But I am noticing a lump or swelling in my neck just below my voice box the last 5 days and It is swollen in between the two bones. I just noticed this this week. Is this something I need to worry about and go and get checked out.? Thank you.
