Suggest Treatment For Swollen Penis Head And Burning Sensation During Urination
XXXX
Steroid creams and minor operations are the best solution for you.
Detailed Answer:
Hi!
I am Dr. Neel Kudchadkar and I will help you out with this problem. I have examined your query carefully and being your personal doctor, I will handle all your medical issues effectively.
You mention that there is pain on using the foreskin.
You mention about redness, pain, discomfort and burning sensations.
You have used certain creams, or wish to use them.
I have noted that you are concerned about balanitis, and are thinking of Betnovate GM and Soframycin creams.
Look, I will educate you well on your options.
The best permanent treatment for such a situation is circumcision.
However, if you do not wish this, then you have these options.
1. Steroid cream application regularly. "Momet" Cream (Mometasone Furoate)
2. Dorsal slit. This is a partial circumcision in which the foreskin is divided from
the upper part. The entire foreskin remains intact, but because of the division
made on the top, the head of the penis remains free.
3. Z Plasty operation. Here the foreskin is forcibly pulled back under general
anesthesia, and a small cut is made where it is tight, this exposes a Z shaped
cut on the foreskin and the ends are stitched up with a very fine suture.
This means the entire foreskin becomes normal. However, there are very few
plastic and cosmetic surgeons who can correctly so this. You might need to
find out appointments over the internet.
Right now, do this:
1. I want you to apply clotrimazole and mupirocin ointment where it is red.
2. I request you to take Doxycycline capsules (antibiotic) for 3 days, twice a day with food.
Feel free to ask doubts as regards this issue.

So should I still go ahead with the medicines you prescribed? What is the actual diagnosis? Full or partial circumcision is not an option at present.
Regards.

Take and apply the medication.
Detailed Answer:
Hi!
Apply the steroid cream - "MOMET" - This is Mometasone Furoate.
The steroid is to applied till the foreskin becomes as normal as possible.
You need to use "T-BACT" - Mupirocin antibiotic cream.
You must take Doxycycline or any suitable antibiotic by mouth.
I would advice lignocaine gel to get over the burning sensation.
Remember to use Clotrimazole cream as an adjunct antifungal.
We both agree that this is the best approach.

Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
