Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of GERD

Question: flushing feeling starting from feet to head...nausea..much gas...went to er had ekg..one changed when having flushing...but had third and was fine....blood work ok, could this be gerd which i have had before.

Yes, GERD is a possibility. If the symptoms improved with treatment with PPIs like omeprazole then its more likely to be GERD especially with normal EKG findings and no other abnormality on blood work or physical exam.

PPIs should be continued along with gastro kinetic agents like domeperidone or itopride for 2 weeks.
