Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Gastroenteritis

Question: Age 65, height 5'8", weight 170 lb. I had a cold a couple of weeks ago and was in a stage with throat phlegm this last week. On Tuesday and today is Saturday I began to have wet flattulance. I fasted for a day and began eating plain oatmeal and bananas. Then plain rice soup with a pickled plum - a Japanese treatment for diarrhea. I have had a normal bowel movement once since Tuesday and the wet flattulance seemed to have subsided. I ate the rice soup with some egg and vegetables on Friday and had some sweet bread. On Saturday morning the wet flattulance returned after having regular flattulance on Friday. The wet flattulance during this time and currently has a sour smell. Should I see my doctor on Monday?

Your symptoms could be due to intestinal infection(gastroenteritis) and intestinal bacterial flora imbalance.
I would suggest to consult the gastroenterologist and undergo stool tests.
Following treatment will helpful:
You should also take walk after meals.
You should take small portions of food every 2 hours.
Avoid heavy and large fatty meals.
Take oral Simethicone and tablet unienzyme
Capsule lactobacillus
Drink sufficient water
