Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Prosopagnosia
Question: A friend has a condition where she can have a conversation with a stranger an remember the conversation completely when she is approached by a person the next day she cannot remember the face. She has had this problem since she was a little girl. She says she has heard a long Latin name for this condition but cannot remember what it is.

In some cases though it is a condition one is born with, an inadequate development of that area, which should be your friends case. It is a genetically determined issue. Of course I am assuming that she hasn't had any brain damage in which case it would be acquired.
I am afraid there is no treatment for it, fortunately she seems to have a mild form and is able to compensate.
