Question: I am 67 yr old female, with heart issues that are finally under control. I had eye implants about 2 years ago, left me with halo's on all lights at night, therefore, no night driving. About 3 weeks ago, my vision started to change, then improved back to "normal". Today, 2hours ago, bent down to get a shirt and it felt like my eyeballs turned over? When I raised up everything was at least quadrupled. did not know whether to call 911 or my husband downstairs. I picked up the phone and could not distinguish the keys, and kept hitting the window on the phone. I am back to 99% with a slight " residual" feeling .

I am not exactly a computer whiz, please just send me an e mail.

Brief Answer:
These symptoms indicate transient ischemic attack.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
These vision related symptoms like feeling of eye balls being turned over, seeing many images of a single object... with spontaneous improvement indicate an episode of transient ischemic attack.
These attacks occur as a result of sudden hypoxia or decreased blood supply to brain and will improve spontaneously as the blood supply gets normalized.

These symptoms are quiet common and every body can experience these symptoms once in a while.

But considering your age of 67 years and previous history related to heart issues, I would like to advice you for a heart evaluation.

Most of the times the associated problem will be related to emboli or a thrombus plaque in the arteries and requires treatment by the use of Aspirin or other related drugs.

You have done a good thing by taking aspirin tablet.

You need to consult your physician doctor for further evaluation of the heart in this regard by tests like electrocardiography or echo tests.

Hope this information is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
