Brief Answer:
Likely to be worm infestation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Your son could indeed be suffering from worm infestation. It is frequently seen in children of this age as they tend to put anything in their mouth. So, periodic deworming with Albendazole (available in brands like Albenza, Zentel, Bandy etc.) (suspension: 200 mg/5 ml) 10 ml single dose at yearly intervals is suggested.

Please note that it is a prescription drug. So please get it prescribed by your pediatrician.

Hope you would be benefitted by the answer. If you find my answer helpful, please close the thread with a positive review and a 5 star rating.

Wish you and your family health.

Regards
