As it is a contusions without airway compromise,she needs anti inflammatory medicine. It can be taken in Syrup or tablet forms.
For 7 years old child, I prescribe Syrup containing Ibuprofen and Paracetamol 5ml twice daily.
If dry cough is persistent, I prescribe Cough syrup to my patients.
