Brief Answer:
Prophylactic therapy needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

I understand how debilitating migraines can be, I have it myself. It is very important to take medicines to prevent migraine in the first place instead of treating the pain once it comes. The best drug for this would be a beta blocker like Metapolol, taken once everyday at night. Please ask your neurologist for a prescription.

I also suggest you to do the following
1. Sleep well and early every night. Make sure to get adequate rest
2. Avoid loud places, avoid reading in a semi lit room
3. Avoid watching Tv for long hours
4. Exercise daily for atleast 30 min a day
5. Keep a diet chart and find out if any particular food triggers your migraine

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
