Question: I fainted on Thursday morning and hit my chin on the tile floor. I went to the hospital and received 3 stitches. Since then, my head has been throbbing and my tempature is at 98.8. I have the chills and body flu-like symptoms. I don't have any memory loss or slurred speech. Should I be concerned and go back to the hospital?

Brief answer....it would be better to go to hospital and get an MRI brain done to rule out any brain injury.
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Although chances of any internal brain injury are less considering the fact that you don't have any slurred speech or vomiting or any memory loss but still it would  be better on your part to go to hospital and preferably get a MRI brain done to rule out even the slightest doubt of any internal brain injury.
Flu like symptoms could be due to either infection in wound or some actual impending flu.
It would be better to get your wound inspected by your doctor.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
