How Can Microadenoma Be Treated?

Hi, recently I have found out that I have hypothyroidism and a microadenoma in the left side of my pituitary gland. The microadenoma is 7mm in size and I have experienced many symptoms from losing hair, to memory loss. Is there a connection between the two and since I am only 27 years of age, should I be concerned that this tumor could possibly grow to something more severe? I am 5 feet 8 and weight is 153. Although, I have been on thyroid meds for a while I am concerned with me losing weight. Please guide me to what precautions I should take.....Thank you

Hi,

First of all, microadenoma is not a serious condition. Radiotherapy and surgery are the treatment options. This is curable.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
