Question: How can I relieve the symptoms of thrush? i took a pill 3 days ago and im still swollen and red. its driving me crazy.

The pain and swelling is getting worse and im very uncomfortable.
Other symptoms i am having are itching, redness, im starting to fell nauseous and am getting hot and cold flushes.
I can't remember what the pill is called but it was a blue capsule and i got it from the chemist for the thrush treatment.

I would have recommended that you use fluconazole 150mg as a single dose for this. Because I don’t know what was initially given, I will suggest that you check with the chemist and let me know. It could also be that this is not the exact infection that you have and there is need for a laboratory test to understand what is going on. At this time, i will recommend sitz baths. To do so, put 15ml of Iodine in a bowl containing 1.5L of lukewarm water and sit in it for 15mins thrice daily. This will help reduce pain and swelling and also facilitate healing.
