Try Gingko Biloba...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
I do understand your difficulty, but at this you can do very little in order to relieve the symptoms.
You can try taking medicine called Gingko biloba, a Chinese herbal extract used to treat tinnitus. This is a very safe medicine to treat tinnitus. Do steam inhalation, drink lots of warm water; avoid coffee/chilled food and beverages.
Ideally, you will require a course of oral steroids to reduce the edema around the Eustachian tube and the Middle ear. Also, steroids helps in reducing the inflammation of the sensitive inner ear nerves.
Continue with the steroid nasal spray. Once you meet your doctor get a complete evaluation done including MRI.
Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.

Isolated tinnitus is rare...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing back
Isolated tinnitus is rare. It is a symptom of some underlying cause which needs to be evaluated.
At present, you can use tinnitus maskers such as light music or a clock which ticks while you sleep. The sound emitted thus masks your tinnitus. Also, there are various tinnitus maskers available in the market which can be used safely.

The spikes in tinnitus is the typical feature of ETD
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing back
The fluctuations in the tinnitus is the typical feature of ETD. When the Eustachian tube opens, the middle ear pressure gets relieved and thus the reduction in the tinnitus. The reblocking of the tube increases the middle ear pressure, thus causing conductive hearing loss and tinnitus.
Hope this clarifies your doubts.
