The condition seems to abate relatively quickly, however, early this a.m. he wet the bed during the incident.

EEG/ENT Opinion
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar, a neurologist, here to answer your query.
Ringing in the sounds is commonly called 'Tinnitus' and usually associated with ear related pathology.Hence, an ENT specialist's opinion will be helpful in this regard.
However, another aspect of this is associated change in vision and red color visual field which improves quickly. All of these symptoms may be associated with some kind of atypical seizures.
I would suggest that an EEG may be helpful in this regard.
Hope that helps.I would be glad to have you in follow-up with further questions regarding the same.
