Suggest Treatment For Tiny Raised Bump On The Lower Lips

default
Posted on Mon, 19 Jan 2015
Question: Hello around 2 months ago I noticed a tiny raised bump on the inside of my lower lip, not visible or painful but I could feel it with my tongue. I felt it had gone away after a month or so but since then I have had a larger bumpy feeling in the same area. I did have a mucocele in a different area of my lip which healed after a few days but there is a similar bumpy feeling under the skin in that area as well. There is no visible sign of these but I can feel them with my tongue.

Brief Answer:
might be a mucocele again

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

I understand your concern.I would like to say if it is of same size and not bothering other than the sensation of swelling, then just leave it alone. It mostly goes off on its own.If you think the size is increasing and causing discomforts in your body, please see a dentist or physician to get it operated.

Hope this helps.Feel free to ask more.
