Suggest Treatment For Tiredness, Sore Throat And Recurring Fever

Likely to be due to a viral cause
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query. You possibly are suffering from a viral infection. The reports showing ok, just confirm the same. It is not a good idea to take antibiotics unless there is an indication of a bacterial infection in the blood reports. Since that is not the case, I do not expect any improvement with antibiotics.
You can get your blood tested for typhoid (widal test or blood culture) as the feverishness is lasting for more than 7 days. However, other factors do not sum up. A systematic evaluation would have been needed. A chest X ray and a urine test could have provided further clues. The chest auscultation would have also helped.
As of now I would insist you to rest, drink plenty of fluids and to remain under the follow up of your doctor. If you have cough, taking steam inhalation should help.

I was told there was bacterial infection present in blood yesterday. They think something upper, however I do not have any spots on my throat anymore or a cough. So I am confused why they would prescribe antibotics.
I have not had a urine test.
After 12 days I still am cold and shivery in upper and weak and tired, I am not XXXXXXX what else to do. Any advice I should tell GP tomorrow when I see them?
Upper respiratory tract infection possibly.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. If the reports have shown indication of bacterial infection use of antibiotics could be justified. You are possibly mentioning about upper respiratory tract infection. In any case, it is good to hear that it is gradually clearing up. I think that you can wait for improvement to occur. You would need to be patient.
No specific advice about what you would ask your GP. However, you can ask him about him impression about the possible cause and how long he expects it to take. Also ask him if he thinks that an additional line of work up would be mandated.
I would insist you to relax.
Regards
