Suggest Treatment For Torn Achilles Tendon And Nerve Pain On Left Foot

Details below
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for posting your question to HealthCare Magic.
I'm sorry to hear that all these nerve pains are happening to you. It is a very terrible pain sometimes.
Yes, there are lots of conditions that affect more then one nerve are the same time, but I don't think thats your case. From what I am reading, and the fact that you are not taking medicines for other chronic problems, gives me a clue that you have a healthy lifestyle. Achilles tenon on the other side breaks in people who practice sports, so its another good indication also.
But comes a certain age that some problems can't be avoided. I don't think the arm nerve pain is related to the leg pain.
The leg pain is most probably from the overuse of one leg more then the other because of the surgery, or the nerve pain you have had in the foot. Something might have caused the pain acutely, and it should be better in 4-6 weeks XXXXXXX
The arm pain is most probably because of posture damage over the years, or weakening of the neck muscles who cant hold the neck well and cause sometimes worsening of it.
These are the most common causes of these pains, and they happen quite often to happen at the same time.
Neuropathy is just a general name for all nerve pains. What has triggered it, only you can tell. But its nothing to worry about if these pains have periods that heal, or get better. If it was some disease who was progressive, it should have never gotten the better, even after the treatment that doctors gave to you.
Anyway, this is an opinion based only on history, and that of the history you are telling me. In order to decide a final diagnoses, it will need an examination and sometimes imaging examinations.
I don't see red flags from your history. I would recommend that if you are not getting better or getting worse, in 1-3 months, tell your doctor your concern, so he can investigate according the results of physical exam. A neurologist should be the right doctor.
Hope I answered your question.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Take care.
Dr. Klarida.
