Suggest Treatment For Unexplained Infertility

Question: Hi,
We are a married couple for 4 years. My wife was last conceived on Feb'14 but has to abort it as there is no growth in the child.
We have to give a gap for 4-6 months to plan again for kids. But since my wife is not able to conceive.
We started visiting gyno regularly and she initially started with drugs but still no result.
Then we attempted IUI for about 4 times but no result. IUI was done during Oct'15 to Jan'16.
Then Gyno suggested not to take any medications and asked us to give gap for about 3 months to start the next course.
My Sperm report and my wife scanning report everything looked normal.
Kindly advise the next step as we are thinking of IVF next.

Brief Answer:
IVF would be the best option.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,
Thanks for attaching all reports. I have reviewed them.
Most of the available reports are NORMAL except left side tubal block. I suggest you to undergo In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) without wasting further time. It will be worthwhile in this case.
Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.

Dr S. Patra,
Thank you for your advice. Just wanted to know -
1. What could be possible reasons for failed IUI procedures.
2. Do you suggest us any Genetic tests to be done before we go ahead for IVF.

Brief Answer:
PGD or PGS can be done before IVF.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
1) Some underlying causes of failed IUI could be as following:
a) Poor quality egg with chromosomal problem.
b) One sided blocked fallopian tube - another factor.
c) Improper timing - IUI should be done within 12 hrs of ovulation.
2) Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) or Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) can be done before transferring embryo to the uterus.
They can detect certain genetic disease and screen for normal chromosome of the embryo. Some center may test eggs for chromosomal abnormalities before they are used to create embryos.
Hope, I have answered your query. Good luck and take care.
