What Are The Side Effects Of General Anaesthesia Drugs?
Question: hi,we are trying to conceive for the past three years,i hv undergone IUI last month but failed, this cycle my gyneac has suggested with cervix dilatation as my cervix is very tight with double IUI, i will be going on dilatation on day 3 tomorrow,as said it is painful, i requested with general anesthesia.I have already undergone laproscopy for tubal block clearance with genaral anaesthesia on 03-Apr 2016.
MY doubts are:
Can i go with general anaesthesia tomorrow again, will there be any sideeffects or any life threatiing issues?
i hv continuos burps--will general aneasthesis affect it?
will double iui can increase my conception rate?
this time my gyneac said that she is going to use one special catherar CoolX catherer--Will it have any difference in IUI results?
Can i go without any fear for tomorrow dilatation
How much time will the procedure take and wt is the procedure?
NOte:all other results are normal for me and my husband has 52Million Sperm count
Please answer i really afraid of tomorrow procedure

Brief Answer:
As below
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
1. General anesthesia can be taken again, without any life threatening issues.
2. Burps will not affect the anesthesia - an experienced anesthetist will take due precautions.
3. Double IUI has same success rates as single IUI, but no harm in trying it this time.
4. No significant different with catheters too.
5. Yes, please go without fear for dilatation.
The procedure would take only ten to fifteen minutes, and it involves dilating your cervix gradually till the tightness is gone.
Take care.
Please feel free to discuss further.
