Brief Answer:
Functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
It seems you are having Non Ulcer Dyspepsia ( NUD ) with symptoms of bloating. gastric fullness & having overlap with Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) which often co-exist,with symptoms of frequent bowel movements .
You have to quit smoking,if you are a smoker and to curtail alcoholic drinks . Reduce caffeine and aerated beverages.Avoid foods and other factors that precipitate symptoms.Fat restriction in diet may help.
Simple dietary precautions may go a long way in alleviating symptoms.
Better eating habits
Regular meal timings: Don’t eat late
Having unhurried meals
Not habitually sipping fluids during meals
Avoidance of excessively spicy and fatty foods.
Stress-reducing activities like Exercise & Relaxation (meditation,Yoga) is recommended .
Test for H-Pylori ;though eradication remains controversial, but a minority (up to 20 %) may benefit.
You are otherwise having right combination of drugs(Nexpro ,Normaxin & Providac ).

Hello sir,
Thanks for your reply.

My Diet : Veg And Non - Alcoholic. I prefer to have home cook food or generally Rice & Tal whenever i travel.

I request you to advise on some specific diet that can help to recover fast. In particular Breakfast, since consumption of milk products also increase the underlying problem (IBS & Lactose Allergy). how do we fulfill the nutrient requirement of the body when you cant have any milk product ( Milk& Panner etc.)

Secondly: How much time this prescription will take to help me recover. as doctor suggested to take it for 15 days initially and then continue if you get sustained relief. Its just been 4 days i have started taking these medicines as perscibed.

Is there is any Ayurveda Medicine that i can take along with Prescription that can help to heal faster and sustained relief.

is there any regular medical test that i can get it done to figure real cause of the problem.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
IBS and related problems

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
If you get aggravation of symptoms with milk or milk products or having lactose intolerance ,you have to avoid it altogether.
You should take high-fiber diets and bulking agents, such as XXXXXXX ,as you are prone to diarrhea,& dietary fiber can delay whole-colonic transit time which is usually faster in IBS patient.Fiber supplementation with Psyllium Husk Powder(ispaghula) would be useful.Furthermore, psyllium preparations tend to produce less bloating and distention.
You can take plant-based "milks" and derivatives such as soy milk, rice milk, almond milk, coconut milk, hazelnut milk, oat milk, hemp milk, and peanut milk which are inherently lactose-free. Low-lactose and lactose-free versions of foods are often available to replace dairy-based foods for those with lactose intolerance.
It would be better if you consult a dietitian who will be able to customize your diet plan.
For IBS and related NUD ,you may have to take treatment for a longer period at least for 06 months and you may remain under maintenance drugs.Stress relief methods will be able to keep you free from drugs.
For Ayurvedic Medicine, you need to consult ayurvedic doctor and in some cases they do work. In fact ispaghula is an ayurvedic fall out.
For lactose intolerance you can undergo 'Hydrogen breath test'.
Ultra-sonography abdomen +/_ upper Gastro-intestinal endoscopy can be undertaken ,if not done already.
