Brief Answer:
Supportive Care needed

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in right upper quadrant with nausea and abdominal cramps with no prior history at age of 74 is likely due to gastric discomfort. Gastritis , acid reflux and gastroparesis are common in old age and treatment is mostly supportive. It may be due to side effect of some pill you could be using like painkillers NSAIDS.
Treatment is mostly supportive. Modify diet lifestyle, eat small frequent meals, avoid triggers like coffee, tea, alcohol, soda, beverages, spices, processed canned foods.
Take some pepto, a prokinetic medicine like motilium and keep focus on diet lifestyle. Exercise will help increase motility. consult nearby physician if the issue persists.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please
