Question: Hi Dr. Jolanda,
My apologies for the delay, things got in the way.
Your comment “one other organ that may be damaged too from high levels of creatinine is the brain.”
Can you please elaborate, or better still send me some links, so I can get a greater understanding of why and how very low functioning kidneys for a 30 day period can cause such problems.

It is called Uremic encephalopathy which is an organic brain disorder. It develops in patients with acute or chronic renal failure, usually when the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) falls and remains below 15 mL/min.
