Suggest Treatment For Urinary Issues

Question: I need a diagnosis; My daughter got a job offer at a hospital and went for a drug test. she doesn't take drugs, but she has a condition that she has had since an accident when she was 4 years old.
She fell on a bike handle and while not appearing to be damaged she was unable to pass urine. we put her in a warm tub and finally, after a time, she was able to pass urine. But things were not normal. We took her to a doc, but back then in a small rural town, there wasn't much made of it. Later, she was able to go more normally, but forever after she had to be relaxed in order to go.
The problem is she cannot pee under stress. Her sphincter just shuts and she could be full of urine and her bladder will not release. She could not pee for the drug test. She is nearly hysterical with fear that she will lose this job for which she worked so hard to get. she needs to tell the human resources person that she has this condition, but what is an official diagnosis for this and is there a drug she could take or a procedure she could have to rectify it. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Stress related
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about the drug test.
Inability to pass urine is not related to the accident you are describing. This could be related to the stress.
There are many people who can't pee under stress. She needs to explain this to the medical officer in charge of doing drug test.
Ask to relax and give sample after drinking more water so that there is urgency in passing urine.
If still unable to pass, urine can be taken out by inserting a catheter in her bladder by a nurse. She needs to discuss these options with doctor there.
Let me know if you need any more help.
Regards

What is the diagnosis. make it up if you have to what sounds official how can it be coded. and all that you mentioned she has tried. Her bladder was so distended, but she still cannot go she drank water all day and did not pee, and still could not. So isn't there a drug that would relax the bladder, how about dicyclomine.
Brief Answer:
Drugs wont work in her situation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Here the diagnosis cannot be coaded. This is stress related non release of sphincter. Drugs like dicyclomine are not of much help.
She has problem with non release of sphincter and relaxing bladder won't help her much.
Only way is to use a catheter.
