Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
I understand how concerned you must be, please do not worry I will try and sort out things for you
I have gone through the reports attached by you these are my interpretations
1. You child has an active urinary tract infection and luckily it is sensitive to many antibiotics and can be treated easily
2. The cause of the enlargement of the kidney is most likely to be renal stones. They have detected renal stone on the right side however it could not be located on the left side. There is possiblity that renal stone could have blocked the urine outflow of the kidney causing renal enlargment. The most common cause for renal enlargement ( hydronephrosis) is renal stone
3. I suggest CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder ( KUB) as the next diagnostic tool
4. MCU is done to see if the urine is refluxing back into the kidneys, that also can cause enlargement of the kidney however it is done only after the infection is treated. During an active urinary tract infection MCU can be falsely positive.
5. Please get him evaluated for renal stone disease by your nephrologist, renal stone disease is uncommon in this age group and requires evaluation
I hope I was of help, if am sure you have doubts, please get back to me so that I can clarify them in detail
