Brief Answer:
It's possible , discussion follows

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
If you are getting recurrent UTI, it is better to have a urine culture and sensitivity done. This will show the organism and the medicines that can be used to treat the same. If this is the first episode of UTI and you are unable to wait for the culture report, Ciprofloxacin is a good antibiotic with which most of the common organisms can be treated. Depending on the local laws, you may require a prescription to buy the medicine.
If you have recurrent UTIs, it would also be good to check for risk factors like diabetes.
