Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Infection While Trying To Concieve

I was diagnosed with a bladder infection 3 weeks after my sergery. I noticed lots of unusual yellow discharge around the same time. After a lot of ovary cramping and blotting more discharge... I went to my G/P and was told if had a bacterial infection. I was put on 2 forms of antibiotics.
1 day after I finished the antibiotics I started to get the yellow slim like cm back.
I'm starting to wonder if I need stronger antibiotics? Have an affection from my surgery? Should I get blood work done ? An std?.. My mind is going crazy. I just want my body back to normal and be able to conceive a baby with my husband. Any advise will help
Thank you XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read your query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) You dont need stronger antibiotics but suitable antibiotics for the infection you have contracted.
2) See your gynecologist or operating surgeon and opt for getting a swab test of yellow discharge and to be sent to culture and sensitivity to see which antibiotic the organism is specifically sensitive to.
3) You can get antibiotics suitable based on this culture and sensitivity report.
4) After your infection is treated please get HSG done to to check if reversal surgery was successful as there are chances of failure.
5) Your age is 34 which is on higher side for fertility. If you dont conceive in next 6 months plan for procedures like IUI or IVF
Let me know if you have any more doubts.
