Question: Diagnosed with a yeast infection Monday. Pap smear on Monday was normal. Took Diflucan Monday and today. Lower abdominal pressure, cramping, itching has moved to urethra. Orange dots on toilet paper when I wipe. Are these also signs of a UTI?

Brief Answer:
Detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear!
Vaginal infection usually are accompanied or complicated with UTI.
As you describe ,yes it is a UTI or cystitis.

Have plenty of water and cranberry tea for some days to relief your symptoms. No intercourse for some days. In view of yeast infection, I would not recommend antibiotics as those can worsen yeast infection. If symptoms of UTI aggravates by using cranberry tea please get a urinary analysis.

All the best.
