Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
Vaginal itching can be due to so many causes and before giving my opinion I want to ask a few questions from you.
For how long you are having vaginal itching?
Is it associated with any vaginal discharge?
Is it associated any foul smell?
Color of vaginal discharge?
Are you sexually active and on birth control pills?
Any other associated disease?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.

Do yeast infections go away on their own? Or does it need to be treated with a prescription?
Brief Answer:
Mild symptoms can go away without treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the long delay in my response.
Yes,fungal ( yeast) infection can go away by its own without treatment if symptoms are mild.
But reoccurance is also very common.
But severe infection with pelvic pain and fever should be treated properly otherwise it may cause future problem.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.
