Question: Hi doctor,
My father is having varicose veins in legs, diabetes mellitus and Blood pressure . We are planning for a surgery.
I had read some posts on internet and found 3-4 ways of to cure this chemical,traditional surgery involving incisions, laser surgery. Can you please recommend what surgery is best for his case and to remove these varicose veins?

There are no in general recommendations as to one modality is better compared to others. All of them have their own good and bads. Chemical is not much used in our practice settings. Surgery now is general preferred modality and all other things being more of adjunct. However final decision is best taken by vascular Surgoen who is seeing him
