Brief Answer:
MRI does not show any active thrombosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic, I've reviewed the reports.
MRI does not show any active thrombosis.
Your husband has been asked to undergo Prothrombin time(PT). In case the PT is prolonged he may put him back on Acitrom. Please do not worry. Acitrom continued for long can also lead to bleeding tendency. That is why the Neurologist wants to assess whether there is need to continue.
He will probably also want him to undergo other tests like lipid profile and serum homocysteine, for which safer medicines with less side effects are available if raised like Folic acid and statins.
You can discuss this with him.
Feel free to revert back.

Brief Answer:
keep himself hydrated with plenty of fluids, and take folic acid 5 mg daily
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX I really do not know which test he is considering that may cost 25k.
If I knew the name of the test, I could check.
Ask him to keep himself hydrated with plenty of fluids, and take folic acid 5 mg daily. These are the only precautions I can think of.
