Question: hello my wife suffered a minor stroke but She's recovering well she didn't get any paralysis but her memory is slow, she has intervals of saying she sees people

Unusual for age. Need to get a vision evaluation done to rule out any retinal injuries. Cannot expect cognition deterioration at this age.

Highly suggestive of cerebral venous thrombosis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting the pictures of CT scans and MRI report.

I have reviewed them, and they are highly suggestive of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST), where there is blood clotting in brain veins such as transverse sinus and sigmoid sinus. This condition can be confirmed by MR venogram, so, please request your neurologist to do MR venogram of brain.

Once the diagnosis of CVST is confirmed by MR venogram, she should be started on heparin or warfarin to dissolve the clots.

Anti-epileptic should also be started to prevent seizures from occurring in future.
