Suggest Treatment For Vertigo

Question: Hello sir , my mom has sufferd from posterior chest wall swelling and after operation on 4/9/15 the histopathology report of the specimen find koch's abscess formation with cistic degeneration. From 19/9/15 she has stared the coarse of akt-4 and dhen after on 9/11/15 dr has prescribed R-cinex-600( rifampicin 600 isoniazide 300) and combutol 1000 (ithambutal hydrochloride) on 11/2/2016 she get started with virtigo and dr has prescribed vertin 25 after 2 days der is no improvement then diligan 25 tid is prescribed even though there is no change, now it is changed betahistine hydrochloride, no effect. Now she is suffering with sevior vertigo she cant XXXXXXX move her head. Its very difficult to move from bed. Plz suggest wat we have to do now. She is 45 year and Weight 70kg.

I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the reports you have attached.
Vertigo is basically a problem of inner ear.
So better to consult ENT doctor and get done clinical examination.
Also get done sodium and potassium levels as electrolyte disturbances can also cause similar symptoms.
I don't think it is related to tubercular drugs because she was not having Vertigo before (when she was on AKT 4).
So consult ENT doctor, get done electrolytes.
Please let me know
1. Is she having diabetes?
2. Is she having hypertension?
