Suggest Treatment For Viral Diarrhoea
Question: My baby 3 years old having itching in body past 2-3 weeks and doctors say alergy. Medicine Atrax and other syrup given. Itching now quite reduced but for sometime loose motion and stool is most of the time yellow color last couple of weeks. Please guide what could be? any parasites stomach infections?

Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhea. I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS...
I don't think this Diarrhea is related to parasites or the urticaria or skin allergy from which he's recovering.

1. For Zinc I suggest you use - Z&D drops 1ml once a day for 14 days.
2.ORS is Oral Rehydration Solution - The new ORS packet is to be mixed in 1 litre of clean water. The solution should be given to young children using a clean spoon or cup. Feeding bottles should not be used.
3. Urticaria can go on sometimes for 2-3 weeks and settle - do not worry.
