Question: I'm having visual hallucinations (roughly 5 to 7 a day) that last for a couple of seconds. the hallucinations range from faces (which end up being burned into my retinas like when you look atbthe sun) to geometric patterns to entire scenes. I also tend to see uncoloured lines.
I occasionally have auditory hallucinations as well which normal are people talking or hearing music that isn't there.
in october I had a what the ambulance techs called a Grand mal on the bus. I refused to go to a hospital out of fear.
I'm on Elavil 60 mg, celexa 10mg, neurontin 1800 mg And climbing, pantoprazole 40mg, stemetil 30mg, Ativan 1 to 2 mg and occasionally seroquel 25mg.
what do I do?

Brief Answer:
Get investigated as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Migraine headache and epilepsy is known to cause visual and auditory symptoms.
Schizophrenia is another such disorder with symptoms as mentioned.
You first need to get an Mri and eeg done.
Antiepileptics may be required in positive suspected cases.
In case of migraine headache, valproate prophylaxis can be started.
Psychiatrist opinion if above investigations are normal.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

I had a MRI done and they said everything looked normal (they only looked at the structure). I've had migraines before and they never Presented that way.
I guess it's down to epilepsy or schizophrenia
